PURPOSE: A to-can package for high-speed data transmission is provided to reduce sufficiently a reflective coefficient according to the impedance matching by forming various kinds of packages according to a pattern of a transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A to-can package for high-speed data transmission includes an optical element(401,402), a stem(408), and a transmission line. The optical element(401,402) is mounted into the stem(408). The transmission line is inserted into the stem(408). The transmission line is electrically connected to the optical element. The stem is formed with a non-conductive dielectric. In addition, the stem is formed with a ceramic material. The transmission line is a high-frequency transmission line such as a micro-strip(410), a coplanar waveguide, and a micro-coupled line. The transmission line is formed as a pattern on a surface of the stem.
