PURPOSE: An operating force-variable accelerator pedal system is provided to improve of the manipulation feeling of an accelerator pedal by linearly increasing a change in the operating force of the accelerator pedal to a change in accelerator pedal operation stroke. CONSTITUTION: An operating force-variable accelerator pedal system comprises a base plate(3) to which an accelerator pedal(1) is rotatably fixed by a hinge shaft; a rotating arm(5) integrally projected from the rotating center of the accelerator pedal; a first spring(9) interposed between the rotating arm and a first spring seat(7) of the base plate; a pinion gear integrally formed to the rotating center of the accelerator pedal while forming a concentric circle; a rack(13) engaging with the pinion gear and rectilinearly sliding; and a second spring(17) installed between a second spring seat(15) formed to the base plate and a third spring seat(16) formed to the rack.
