<p>PURPOSE: A method for making media for treating foul/waste water by using waste vinyl resins is provided to reutilize resources, to prevent environmental pollutions, and to downsize waste water treating installations. CONSTITUTION: The method for making media for treating foul/waste water comprises the steps of: collecting waste vinyl resins; separating foreign materials, thermoplastic resins, etc., from the collected waste vinyl resins; heating the waste vinyl resins at 200-300 deg.C to melt them; mixing clay and active carbon with the molten waste vinyl resin; solidifying the mixed waste vinyl resins into a desired size at room temperature; cutting the solidified mixture into spherical ships having a certain area by using a lathe; and recovering the spherical chips and introducing them into a net having a desired shape to form a unit medium.</p> |
