METHOD FOR DISPLAYING IMPORTANT MESSAGE IN MOBILE PHONE

PURPOSE: A method for displaying an important message in a mobile phone is provided to preferentially display an appointed important message on the LCD and to prevent the loss of calls. CONSTITUTION: If a user classifies messages into groups according to importance and inputs associated key signals, a CPU stores them in a memory according to the inputted signals(S21). If a message is received in an idle state, the CPU controls the memory and classifies the received message(S22-S24). Then the CPU judges whether the received and classified message belongs to an important message group(S25). In case that it is judged that the received and classified message belongs to the important message group, the CPU displays it on the initial screen. Otherwise, the CPU stores it in the memory.
