t is disclosed herein a device called shock element resembling externally a common semi-automatic breakerof (switchboard) containing a shock sensor and a resistance R (fig. 5a, 5b, fig. 6) destined to be placed into the electric panel of the two-orthree-phase electric installation and be connected to the anti-electric shock relay (fig. 2) which in case of earthquake sets the device out of operation (OFF position), protecting, thus, the electric installation from explosion and fire. Except from the aforementioned device which is able to co-operate with other marketed relays, there is proposed: a) Replacement of the existing relay with a new containing shock sensor(s) featuring seism sensitive properties. This device may be part of unentiraptibal Power Supply devices (UPS); b) Co-operation of two devices (a new relay and a shock sensor) having the possibility of lateral connection (conductively connected) providing the relay with the attribute of earthquake sensitivity. The main advantages of the invention are: operational liability, low cost, and easy installation. |
