The middle support part of the ski is formed by three wooden profiles which have been glued together, a bottom layer of laminated plastic material (16) and a casing (13) covering the top and sides of this part. This casing is extended at the ends of the ski to form splash guards (15) around the top and sides of the wheel (2). The wheel axle are secured to flat length direction aluminium profiles (3), which are joined together at their opposing ends by two cross-direction steel rods (5) glued inside cross-direction milled cavities (10, 11) in the middle wooden profile. |
