The present invention depicts a method and system to report the lack of pressure in the line of a gas tank. The system employs a mechanic monitor that when pressure descends to a predetermined level it activates an electronic circuit that employs a telephonic line for transmitting the identification number to a central monitoring system. The system allows suppliers, among other things, to prevent lack of gas of clients, enhancing safety and avoiding the half-tanks filling increasing efficiency of the supplying fleet and improving the service to clients. The system to report the lack of gas pressure in the tanks can be installed in an open field for it is installed between the inlet valve and the pressure regulator. The system does not require supplementary electric installation for it is mechanically censed and it is only activated to make the phone call.
