A control and safety device for vehicles may be fitted on the vehicle and includes a control unit (3) comprising a data processing unit (4) connected to an electronic input interface device (8) which can receive input signals indicating the vehicle (1) speed, whether or not the safety belt is fastened, whether or not the lights are on and door opening/closing. The unit (4) is connected to an electronic output interface device (16) which can issue command signals for warning means (20) and/or for actuator means (17, 18, 19) which affect vehicle (1) operation, depending on the input signals. |
