PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a hydraulic turbine even if a motor-driven servoamplifier fails by a method wherein the functional interruption state of the servoamplifier is detected and a backup guide vane shutdown device is operated. SOLUTION: A motor-driven servomechanism for a hydraulic turbine which drives a guide vane has a motor-driven servoamplifier 1 and a servomotor 2. An amplifier failure monitor 3 which monitors the output voltage waveform of the motor-driven servoamplifier 1 is provided between the motor-driven servoamplifier 1 and the servomotor 2. When the functional interruption state of the motor-driven servoamplifier 1 is detected, an alarm is raised and the hydraulic turbine is stopped by a backup guide vane shutdown device to ensure the safety of the hydraulic turbine. |
