PURPOSE: To prevent irregularity in temperatures from occurring on the surface of a mirror block. CONSTITUTION: A disc molding die has a mirror block 13, on one of faces of which the molding surface of a disc base plate 11 is formed and in the other face of which grooves are carved to form cooling water flow passages 35, and heat conduction regulating materials disposed on the bottom faces of the grooves. The heat conduction regulating materials are formed of materials having thermal conductivity different from that of the materials forming the mirror block 13 and are disposed so as to be in contact with the bottom faces of the grooves. A portion where heat is directly transferred to the cooling water through the mirror block 13 only, and a portion where heat is transferred to the cooling water through the mirror block 13 and heat conduction regulating materials are formed on the disc base platen 11. Irregularity in temperatures can be prevented from occurring on the surface of the mirror block 13. |
