PURPOSE: An auxiliary mat for a vehicle and a method for manufacturing the auxiliary mat are provided to secure an excellent anti-pullback effect by making the mat from carpets and rubber, processing the end of a projection of the auxiliary mat into a pointed tip, and making the length of the projection long. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary mat for a vehicle is composed of a jointed body(10) forming upper and lower layers with carpet and rubber fabrics(20,30); a plurality of projections(40) of which ends are formed into pointed tips, arranged on the surface of the rubber fabric of the jointed body; and a frame unit(50) disposed to the edge of the jointed body and protruded toward the carpet fabric of the jointed body. The frame unit includes a plurality of ribs(60) formed at the lower side of the rubber fabric to keep a protruded shape.
