FIELD: machine tools, mainly for working surfaces of revolution of articles such as races of rolling bearing assemblies. SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes frame in which spindle with magnetic chuck and units for mounting article are arranged; grinding wheel mounted on grinding spindle; and motor. Units for mounting article are arranged inside or outside article; they are in the form of multistage leverage-articulation system. Each stage includes balance beams. Balance beams of last stage are in the form of supporting members engaged with article surface. System is mounted on balance beam which is mounted with possibility of rotation relative to horizontal axis in strut secured to frame. Article is mounted by its end in electromagnetic chuck; in order to compensate its weight there is additional supporting unit inclined relative to vertical line.
