FIELD: agriculture, in particular, providing raw licorice material for pharmaceutical, medical, chemical, perfume, food- processing, confectionery, canned food, tobacco and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves mechanical killing of weed plants; creating fireproofing bank of 1.4-1.8 m width along perimeter of association including licorice and various grasses by turning soil layer to 20-27 cm depth; forming alternating strips of 2-3 m width on association habitat territory by rotavating upper soil layer to 3-6 cm depth to provide for reservant by mulching with licorice and various grass residues of strip day surface; burning strip spacings of 8-12 cm width with stubble and/or vegetative licorice sprouts, mortal mass, afterharvesting residue and plant stand of associated plants. Method allows natural wild licorice brushwood of endemic ecological forms, such as dry steppe, drowned river valley and bottomland forms, to be radically improved. EFFECT: improved density of standing natural wild licorice brushwood and increased productivity of raw licorice material. 1 dwg |
