SIDE-SLOTED DOUBLE PLATE TYPE NOZZLE-SHAPED COOLANT-MIXED SUPPORT GRID BODY FOR NUCLEAR FUEL ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A side-slotted double plate type nozzle-shaped coolant-mixed support grid body for nuclear fuel assembly is provided to improve the thermal efficiency by forming a coolant path at a predetermined part of overlapped unit plates. CONSTITUTION: A side-slotted double plate type nozzle-shaped coolant-mixed support grid body for nuclear fuel assembly includes two unit plates, a plurality of grid plates(316), and four external grid plates. The unit plates face each other. The grid plates(316) are formed by the unit plates. The unit plates are used for forming a nozzle-shaped coolant path having an inlet and an outlet in the inside of the unit grid plate(316). A plurality of fuel rod cells are formed by crossing the grid plates. The grid plates are formed with a plurality of unit grid plates. The unit plates are close to a fuel rod(325) since the unit plates include slots formed at both sides of a projected spring part.
