DRAINAGE SYSTEM FOR HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A drainage system of a heat exchanger is provided to remove condensate flowing on a surface of a fin and prevent a contacting area between a flat tube and a cooling fin from reducing. CONSTITUTION: A header(1,2) is shaped like a tube. Flat tubes(3) are combined to an outer peripheral surface of the header, having a refrigerant passage to communicate with the header vertically. Cooling fins(10) are arranged between two flat tubes, contacting an outer surface of the flat tube. A protruded portion(20) for maintaining a gap is formed to either a side surface of the flat tube to contact both cooling fins, placing between cooling fins separately. Thereby, drainage is easy by shortening a distance between front and rear fins(11,12). Heat transmitting efficiency is improved by contacting front and rear fins to the flat tube widely.
