PURPOSE: An electrophotographic apparatus cleaning method and electrophotographic image forming system are provided to clean a fixing roller or a fixing belt easily and reliably. CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic apparatus that uses an electrophotographic image forming system having a heating/pressing unit for fixing a toner on an electrophotographic image-receiving sheet(18) is cleaned using the electrophotographic image-receiving sheet as a cleaning sheet. The electrophotographic image-receiving sheet has a toner image-receiving layer containing a thermoplastic resin on a support. The length of the electrophotographic image-receiving sheet is longer than the circumference of a fixing roller that is the heating/pressing unit or the circumference of a fixing belt.
