PURPOSE: A system and a method for decoding and error correction on a 2D(Dimensional) array related to a digital pen are provided to efficiently determine a position of an image and efficiently decode the captured image. CONSTITUTION: A process for generating a wrapped non-repeating sequence comprises steps for generating the non-repeating and wrapping the non-repeating sequence to an array. The process for determining the position of the captured array comprises the steps for extracting columns from the capture array(802), sorting codes extracted from the column by a distance(803), coding a larger matrix by forming the matrix from the column and determining a vector from the code(804), and determining the position of the extracted code(807).
