摘要 <p>PURPOSE: Provided is a bending member for use in insertions for soccer shoes, etc., which moves when bent in at least one direction along a positive rotational direction in a manner different clearly from that in the case of bending along a negative rotational direction. CONSTITUTION: The bidirectional bending member comprises a first reinforcing layer(I)(1) formed of a fibrous reinforcing element(I) having a tensile elasticity of at least 1,800-20,000 N/mm¬2, and an elastomer layer(II)(2) having a tensile elasticity of 2-1,300 N/mm¬2. In the bending member, the weight ratio of the reinforcing element(I) of the layer(I)(1) to the elastomer of the layer(II)(2) is 1:99-40:60. When the bending member is bent about an axis parallel to the reinforcing layer(I)(1), the ratio of the rigidity of the member completely bent along the positive rotational direction to that of the member completely bent along the negative rotational direction is at least 1.2.</p>
