PURPOSE: An idle speed reducing device of an engine is provided to prevent unnecessary fuel consumption and harmful exhaust gas, and to decrease the idle speed by reducing air flow into the combustion chamber with shutting off the external air inflow passage through the breather hose in idling the engine. CONSTITUTION: A breather amount adjusting valve(10) is installed in a breather hose of a blowby gas reduction apparatus to shut off inflow of external air through the breather hose by generating negative pressure in an intake manifold in idling. The breather amount adjusting valve comprises a body(11) having an upper chamber(11b) communicated with a surge tank and a lower chamber(11c) communicated with an air duct and a locker cover, a valve(12) having a valve rod(12a) inserted to a guide hole of a partition wall dividing into the upper chamber and the lower chamber and a valve head(12b) placed in the upper part of the valve seat formed in the outlet of the connecting portion of the locker cover, and a diaphragm(13) dividing the upper chamber into the atmospheric space and the surge tank space and connecting to the upper part of the valve rod.
