INSULATION SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER

PURPOSE: An insulation system for a distribution transformer is provided to achieve improved insulating property and reduce the loss due to the short-circuit of the transformer. CONSTITUTION: In an insulation system for a distribution transformer, a coil winding unit(2) is wound around a core and insulated by a cellulose sheet(4). A unit duct is installed between the winding units. A complex insulation unit(6) formed by mixing the cellulose sheet and a high-temperature insulating sheet(5), is arranged at the inter-insulation portion of the winding. In the complex insulation unit, the high-temperature insulating sheet is adhered to the part directly contacted to the coil of the winding unit and the cellulose sheet is adhered to the part indirectly contacted to the coil of the winding unit.
