DISPLAY CONTROLLER TO CONNECT MULTIPLE DISPLAYS WITH SINGLE VIDEO CABLE RELATED TO COMPUTER HAVING AT LEAST ONE DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A display controller to connect multiple displays with a single video cable is provided to offer the display controller enabling the single cable and a single displays adaptor operate more than one display by dividing information of a single frame offered from the display adaptor into multiple display information. CONSTITUTION: A computer system includes a computer(200), the display adaptor(216) related to the computer, and the display controller(206) connected to a monitor/display adaptor and configured to divide the frame received from the display adaptor among the multiple displays(2021-202N). The display controller is connected to the display adaptor through the single cable. The cable is a VGA(Video Graphics Array) or a DVI(Digital Video Interactive) cable. The video display adaptor includes a single video cable plug and the display controller is connected to the display adaptor through the single video plug.
