PURPOSE: A method for servicing a mobile Internet through an IP address assignment is provided to enable a mobile station to be assigned with a new IP address when moving to other wireless network from a specific wireless network, and to supply an Internet service, thereby continuously receiving the Internet service. CONSTITUTION: When a mobile station enters a region of the first packet data service node, the mobile station completes a PPP(Point to Point Protocol) connection with the first packet data service node(S51). The mobile station initializes a self IP address instead of an IP address assigned from the first packet data service node(S52). The mobile station attempts a PPP connection with the second packet data service node(S53). If a layer 2 network layer is successfully connected, the mobile station is assigned with a new IP address from the second packet data service node(S54). The mobile station sets the assigned IP address to the self IP address, and accesses a specific Internet site(S55).
