PURPOSE: An optical pickup device equipped with a movable light receiving element is provided to move the light receiving element to any direction by using electromagnetic force of coils, wires, and magnets. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting element irradiates a laser beam on a recording surface of an optical disc. A light receiving unit receives the laser beam reflected from the recording medium surface, converts the laser beam into an electric signal, and outputs the electric signal. The light receiving unit comprises the light receiving element(60) receiving the laser beam, a plate(601) fixing the light receiving element and installing more than one coil at a side, the magnet(602) facing to the coil(603) wound to the plate, a yoke(600) fixing the magnetic, the wires(606) fixing one end to both sides of the plate, and a frame(604) movably installed by fixing other end of wires and being supported to the yoke. |
