OPERATING SINKER OF FLAT KNITTING MACHINE

PURPOSE: An operating sinker of a flat knitting machine has simple structure. The operating sinker is capable of forming various patterns without trouble, producing products having high value added and reducing a production cost. CONSTITUTION: A flat knitting machine comprises: a sinker cam fixed on a cam fixing part; a fixed guide member installed on a needle bed and moving back and forth in accordance with the sinker cam; and an operating sinker(1) operated with the fixed guide member. The operating sinker(1) comprises: a joining part(9) which is formed on one side, contacting with the sinker cam; a first guide member(1a) and a second guide member(1b) guiding and supporting knitting yarn(Y) on the other side; a connecting part(1d) connecting with the lower fixed sinker; a first half part(10) being thinner than the other parts; and a reinforcing part(8) formed in the upper middle of a body.
