PURPOSE: A driving device of an active type light emitting display panel is provided to control turning on and turning off times of an electro-luminescence element. CONSTITUTION: A driving device drives an active type light emitting display panel with a large number of light emitting pixels arranged. The light emitting pixel includes at least a light emitting element(E1) and a driving TFT(Thin Film Transistor)(Tr2) which lights and drives the light emitting element. The driving device drives an active type light emitting display panel further includes a power supply supplying a light emitting driving power to the light emitting element by performing charge and discharge operations for a light emitting power holding capacitor(C2). The driving device is constructed such that one or more charge and discharge operations are performed for the light emitting power holding capacitor comprising the power supply during a light emission driving time of the light emitting element for each scan.
