PURPOSE: A water purifier using silver for sterilization is provided which improves reliability for product by contacting water purified as it is passing through a plurality of filters in the water purifier with silver coating layer and silver coated contact members, thereby eliminating bacteria in water. CONSTITUTION: In a water purifier comprising pressing pump, high turbidity filter, precipitation filter, first activated carbon filter, reverse osmosis filtering filter, second activated carbon filter, reservoir, cold water tank and hot water tank, and drain cock, the water purifier is characterized in that a silver coating layer(42) is coated to a certain thickness on the inner wall surface of pipe(20) connected from the final filter in the plurality of filters to the reservoir(16), the inner wall surface of the reservoir and the inner wall surface of pipe extended from the reservoir to the drain cock(19), and contact members(44) on the surface of which silver is coated are installed inside the reservoir to maximize a contact area of water and silver, wherein the silver coated contact members installed in the reservoir are formed in such a structure that a plate is continuously bent in a "U" shape, wherein the silver coated contact members installed in the reservoir are formed in such a way that a plurality of thin plates having different heights are installed along a length direction of the reservoir, wherein the silver coated contact members installed in the reservoir are formed of a plural disk shaped plates on a plurality surfaces of which a plurality of through holes(46) are formed, and wherein the silver coated contact members installed in the reservoir are formed of a coil spring shape having a certain size.
