PURPOSE: Provided are artificial woods and finishing materials formed of crushed vegetation materials and minerals, which are produced at a low cost by a simple process, and have excellent flame resistance, insect resistance, moisture-proofing property and heat insulating property. CONSTITUTION: The artificial woods comprise a reinforcing layer having a certain width, and a layer(20) to be reinforced, which is obtained by applying a mixture comprising crushed vegetation materials, minerals and an adhesive on one surface of the reinforcing layer(10) at a predetermined thickness, wherein the layer(20) and the reinforcing layer(10) are wound many times to obtain a predetermined volume and then compressed to obtain a predetermined shape. The finishing material is obtained by adhering at least one surface material selected from the group consisting of papers, woven materials, woods and synthetic resins on the outer surface of the artificial wood.
