PURPOSE: An electric energy storage system and a fabricating method thereof are provided to fabricate slurry having various viscometric characteristics by mixing a binder with activated carbon powders or conductive carbon powders. CONSTITUTION: An electric energy storage system includes an electrode having a binder. The binder includes a compound including activated carbon and conductive carbon and water-soluble chitosan for settling the compound on a current collector. The content of the water-soluble chitosan within the binder is 3 to 10 weight percent to the compound. The water-soluble chitosan has the molecular weight of 5,000 to 10,000. The binder further includes thermosetting resin. The thermosetting resin is formed with one material selected from a group including polyurethane resin, melamine resin, polyester resin, and epoxy resin. |
