摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a synthetic method of high purity BaTiO3 powder with nano size, homogeneous particle distribution and crystallinity by wet process using TiCl4 solution and BaCl2 solution prepared by inorganic acid. CONSTITUTION: The nanosize BaTiO3 powder(<=0.1micrometer) is synthesized by the following steps of: (i) preparing TiCl4 solution, mixture of TiOCl2 and inorganic acid, obtained by adding 0.01-12.0M of inorganic acid such as HCl, HNO3 or H2SO4 slowly to high purity TiCl4; (ii) preparing BaCl2 solution obtained by adding 0.01-12.0M of inorganic acid such as HCl, HNO3 or H2SO4 slowly to high purity BaCl2; (iii) mixing the TiCl4 solution and BaCl2 solution at room temperature to be a molar ratio Ti4+/Ba+2 of 1 to 1.5; (iv) adding an alkaline solution to the mixed solution at 15-200deg.C to adjust pH of the solution to become more than 10; (v) washing precipitates(BaTiO3) with water until the pH of the solution is 6-8; (vi) filtering and drying.
