LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING COMPENSATION FILM INSIDE SUBSTRATE AND FABRICATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An LCD device having a compensation film inside a substrate is provided to deposit a compensation film on a color filter substrate and a TFT substrate, thereby realizing a thin LCD device. CONSTITUTION: A gate bus line and a gate electrode(302) are defined by applying a gate metal film to a transparent insulating substrate(301). A gate insulating film(303), an active layer(304a), an ohmic contact layer(304b), source/drain electrodes(305,310), and a data bus line(306) are sequentially formed on the transparent insulating substrate(301) where the gate bus line and the gate electrode(302) are deposited. A protecting film(307) is applied in order to protect an element. A compensation film(308) is deposited on the protecting film(307). An ITO pixel electrode(309) is deposited on the compensation film(308).
