PURPOSE: A component feeding apparatus for feeding an electronic component to a pick-up position is provided to transfer an electronic component without using a transferring gear corresponding to a narrow transferring interval. CONSTITUTION: A sprocket(79) is used for transferring intermittently a storage tape. The sprocket and a transferring gear(78) are supported by the same shaft in order to be rotated simultaneously. A transferring lever(76) is supported movably. The first transferring pawl(77A) and the second transferring pawl(77B) are attached to the transferring lever. The first and the second transferring pawl are alternately coupled to the transferring gear in order to rotate the transferring gear as much as by a half tooth pitch whenever the transferring lever is moved to the predetermined direction.
