PURPOSE: A portable terminal device is provided to nullify an operation of a supplementary operator in case the portable terminal device is in at least open state, thereby preventing a wrong operation from being generated when a user presses the supplementary operator by mistake. CONSTITUTION: The first housing(101b) comprises at least a main operator(102). The second housing(101a) comprises at least a display(106). Both housings(101a,101b) are connected together to be open and shut, such that the main operator(102) is covered with the second housing(101a) in shut state while being exposed to an outer side in open state. The display(106) is exposed outside in shut and open states. A supplementary operator includes a key provided on other side instead of sides of both housings(101a,101b) or plural keys.
