ANTI-OXIDATION OR ANTI-AGING SKIN COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE EXTRACT OF ROSA DAVURICA PALL

PURPOSE: Provided is an anti-oxidation or anti-aging skin cosmetic composition containing the extract of Rosa davurica Pall. containing a large amount of catechin. The cosmetic composition has excellent anti-oxidation or anti-aging effect on the skin to prevent or retard skin aging, as well as excellent stability and skin safety. CONSTITUTION: An anti-oxidation or anti-aging skin cosmetic composition is characterized by containing 0.001-20.0 wt.% of the extract of Rosa davurica Pall. containing a large amount of catechin of the formula(1), based on the total weight of the composition. The extract is obtained by the steps of: drying Rosa davurica Pall. and pulverizing it; adding an extracting solvent to the powder, followed by deposition for 1-15 days; and concentrating the extract under reduced pressure.
