PURPOSE: A method for supplying an EPG(Electronic Program Guide) of a digital TV is provided to display received information for a user immediately or repeatedly, and automatically according to user's setting whenever a new EPG is received, thereby conveniently supplying the user with the received EPG. CONSTITUTION: While a user views a digital TV or an analog TV(S11), the digital TV or the analog TV tunes channels(S12). In the case of the digital TV, the channels are parsed by a PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol), and in the case of the analog TV, the channels are parsed by a VBI(Vertical Blank Interval)(S13). Whether new information is received is discriminated(S14). If new information is not received, the digital or analog TV channels are continuously tuned in the digital or analog TV, respectively. If new information is received, the new information is stored and displayed according to user's setting(S15).
