摘要 PURPOSE: A display driving method and a display device are provided to remove concentration variations or burrs due to a noise voltage. CONSTITUTION: A display device includes a simple matrix display having a plurality of signal electrodes(X1-X4) and a plurality of scanning electrodes(Y1-Y4) which are installed to be orthogonal to each other with an electrostatic capacity, a scanning side driver(20), and a signal side driver(30). The scanning side driver sequentially scans the scanning electrodes and inputs a scanning voltage. The signal side driver applies a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal voltage from either one of a forward approach PWM signal voltage and a rearward approach PWM signal voltage to each of the signal electrodes synchronously with the scan of the scanning side driver. The signal side driver applies the forward approach PWM signal voltage to an almost half number of signal electrodes and applies the rearward approach PWM signal voltage to the rest electrodes for each scanning period at which the scanning electrodes are sequentially scanned.
