PURPOSE: A simple position tracking system is provided to easily detect a position of a target holding a transmitter by comparatively analyzing strengths of specific sky waves received by antennas and displaying a direction and distance of the transmitter. CONSTITUTION: First to third antennas(10A-10C) receive specific sky waves. A demodulator(20) demodulates each specific sky wave. An A/D converter(30) converts an analog signal of each specific sky wave into digital data and outputs strengths of each specific sky wave. A comparator(40) analyzes the analog signal of the sky wave and outputs address data. A microcomputer(50) determines whether an address where a transmitter is positioned is a desired address on the basis of the address data, and if the former address is the desired address, the microcomputer(50) controls such that the strengths of each specific sky wave are comparatively analyzed to detect and display a direction and distance of the transmitter. A sound generator(60) generates a sound informing about change in the position of the transmitter. A display unit(70) displays the direction and distance of the transmitter through an LCD.
