PURPOSE: An LCD element is provided to comprise plural columned spacers on a top plate in order to have density of columned spacers more than 'size/pixel size of the columned spacers', thereby resolving non-uniformity of cell gaps of an LCD panel and preventing the LCD panel from being stained. CONSTITUTION: A top plate(50) forms color filter layers. A bottom plate(51) forms TFTs(Thin Film Transistors). A liquid crystal layer is filled between the top plate(50) and the bottom plate(51). Columned spacers(52) are fixed every pixel areas(53) one by one between the top plate(50) and the bottom plate(51) in order to maintain cell gaps between the top plate(50) and the bottom plate(51). The bottom plate(51) comprises as follows. Gate lines are arrayed in one direction. Data lines are arrayed at certain intervals in vertical direction to each gate line. Pixel electrodes are formed in each pixel area(53) in matrix type. TFTs transmit signals of the data lines to each pixel electrode. |
