MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL USING CONNECTING TYPE EEPROM

PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal using a connecting type EEPROM(Electrical Erasable and Programmable Read Only Memory) is provided to allow a user to easily change a mobile terminal by maintaining data of user information stored in an EEPROM of the mobile terminal as it is. CONSTITUTION: An RF transceiver(210) receives an RF(Radio Frequency) signal from an antenna, demodulates it to output it to a controller(240), and converts a signal received from the controller(240) into an RF signal to output it to a base station. A display unit(220) receives an image signal from the controller(240) and displays an image. A key pad unit(230) generates a key input signal and outputs it to the controller(240). The controller(240) outputs an EEPROM select signal to a memory unit(250) according to an inputted key input signal, and converts information data received from the memory unit(250) into an image signal to output it to the display unit(220). The memory unit(250) includes multiple detachable EEPROMs(254) and outputs the information data stored in the EEPROM(254) as selected according to an EEPROM select signal of the controller(240), to the controller(240).
