MICROORGANISM BACILLUS SUBTILIS MUTANT HAVING PLANT GROWTH PROMOTION AND LATE BLIGHT CONTROL ACTIVITIES

PURPOSE: A microorganism Bacillus subtilis mutant having plant growth promotion and late blight control activities is provided, which microorganism has improved plant pathogenic bacteria inhibiting activity, so that plant disease can be controlled biologically. CONSTITUTION: A microorganism Bacillus subtilis mutant ME488 having plant growth promotion and late blight control activities is provided, wherein Bacillus subtilis ME488 is isolated by: collecting soil samples, dilution plating the soil samples on a nutrient agar medium and culturing them; isolating colonies grown; culturing the colonies on a medium containing pathogenic bacteria such as Rhizoctonia solani, Pythium ultimum and Phytophthora capsici; and selecting colonies inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
