APPARATUS FOR MEASURING PROFILE OF GROOVE OF TIRE TREAD

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a profile of a groove of a tire tread is provided to improve performance of a tire by precisely measuring the shape of the groove formed in the tire tread from a center of a grounding part of the tire being rotated. CONSTITUTION: A load applying section(4) is installed on a traveling bed(1). The load applying section(4) is slidably moved on the traveling bed(1) by means of a ball screw and a driving motor. A screw jack(7) is attached to the load applying section(4) so as to move up and down a tire(5). A paste having a predetermined viscosity is formed in a tire traveling path(8) of the traveling bed(1). A frame(4a) of the load applying section(4) is connected to the ball screw and is linearly moved as the ball screw is rotated by means of the driving motor.
