PURPOSE: A handover processing method and system are provided to connect a call to the other terminal by correcting handover position information whenever one terminal is moved to a new area. CONSTITUTION: An SIP terminal transmits a call connection request command to a first SIP proxy server(S300). The first SIP proxy server transmits the outer terminal position information request command to a location server(S302). The location server extracts position information of the other terminal(S304). The location server transmits the extracted other terminal position information to a first SIP proxy server(S306). The first SIP proxy server transmits the other terminal position information to the SIP terminal(S308). The SIP terminal determines whether the other terminal is a mobile type(S310). If the other terminal is the mobile type, the SIP terminal transmits a call connection request command to a local SIP proxy server of the other terminal(S312). The local SIP proxy server transmits the call connection request command to the other terminal so that a call is connected between the other terminal and the SIP terminal(S314).
