PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting a state of separation is provided to grasp easily positions of a lost child and a lost old and infirm person by improving a separation detector. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting a state of separation includes a first sub-unit and a second sub-unit. Each of the first and the second sub-units includes a couple of antennas, a reception amplifier, a communication chip, a transmission amplifier, a CPU, and an alarm unit. The antennas(100a,100b) are used for forming a uniform cell boundary. The reception amplifier(130) is used for amplifying signals received from the antennas. The communication chip(170) is used for converting the received signals to ID information and converting the transmitting ID information to the signals. The transmission amplifier(160) is used for amplifying the transmitting signals. The CPU(200) is used for analyzing the converted ID information. The alarm unit(190) generates the alarm sound according to a command of the CPU.
