APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR UNIFORMLY CONTROLLING GRAIN SIZE OF SINTERED FUEL

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for uniformly controlling grain size of sintered fuel are provided to obtain uniformed grain size of the fuel and produce high quality product by comparing grain size analyzed values with a set value and controlling upper and lower angles of rod mill according to the comparison results. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises first step of dispersing the fuel from disperser through chute(109); second step of charging the dispersed fuel per sizes into the rod mill(106) through sorter(103); third step of performing grain size analysis by feeding the crushed fuel through feeding port and loading the crushed fuel on conveyer belt(104) after crushing the fuel charged into the rod mill by rods; fourth step of transmitting grain size analyzed values to controller(200) and comparative analyzing output values with a set value by the controller; fifth step of adjusting an up/down adjusting cylinder so that the output values are equal to the set value based on the set value by the controller; and sixth step of proceeding the fifth step if the output values are different from the set value in the fourth step while the above steps are continuously performed and controlled, proceeding the third and fourth steps by taking a preset time delay in the grain size analysis of the third step and detecting and analyzing an average value of time delay again, and feedback controlling the respective steps so that the set value is equals to the output values.
