METHOD FOR LOCKING TOUCH PAD ON NOTEBOOK COMPUTER

PURPOSE: A method for locking a touch pad on a notebook computer is provided to set/release a lock function of the touch pad through a simple key input of a user. CONSTITUTION: It is checked that a specified key for setting the lock function of the touch pad is inputted(S20). When the specified key is inputted, the coordinates data output according to the contact of the touch pad is ignored and only an operation corresponding to the data output from a keyboard is performed(S21). It is checked that the specified key for releasing the lock function is inputted(S30). When the specified key is inputted, the operation corresponding to the coordinates data output according to the contact of the touch pad and the data output from a keyboard is performed(S31).
