The device for delivering a product such as deodorizing perfume from a container includes a control element that when actuated causes the perfume to be released. A support enables the container, such as a pressurized aerosol, to be mounted to the door frame (C), while the actuating assembly is fixed to the door (P) so as to distribute a dose of perfume when the door opens. The actuating assembly includes an arm (180) with a wheel (181) at one that actuates a control element (110) having a flexible rod (111) that actuates a valve or pump on the container when the door is opened. An Independent claim is included for a container usable in the above device e.g. for emitting perfume.
