A ventilator (2) with a constant air production rate and capable of generating a known maximum pressure is connected to the conduit and the pressure across the ventilator is measured. This value is compared with those in an experimental table previously drawn up, from which the link between pressure and degree of fouling for a standard channel is used to establish the degree of fouling - the greater the air resistance of the conduit, the higher the degree of fouling. An independent claim is also included for the measuring device, comprising a ventilator mounted in a portable frame (1) and connected to an air supply tube (3) for outside air. The ventilator includes an air outlet tube (4) for connecting to the gas conduit. The two tubes each contain a pressure sensor (P1, P2) which is connected to a pressure difference meter (7, 8). |
