The heated twin-belt press (1), for the lamination of workpiece materials using heat and pressure, has two continuous press belts (3). They travel in the same direction (5) where their leading sides face each other at the press stretch (4). At the press zone, heat and force are applied to the rear surfaces (8) of the belt, to press them against each other with the workpiece material between them. The belts are in links, or have a profiled metal surface. The pressure is applied by a roller cushion (7), under pressure from a roller belt (6), with heat from oil or air under pressure.
