The device has a pushbutton mounted in a mobile manner on a support (4.1) for movement translation. One contact unit (210) with a mobile part is placed in an activating axis for getting activated by the pushbutton and another contact unit (220) is in contact with the mobile part to establish an electric liaison between the two units. The two units are made of two metallic contact brace both of which are borne by the support. An Independent claim is also included for a portable electronic instrument.
