The tricycle has a rear drive part (10) with wheel (14) driven by a pedal crank (16), and a front structure (22) with chassis (24) and two wheels (26). Rear drive and structure are connected via a joint (32) on a horizontal double strut (12). In a first position of the front structure, a load carrier (30) is located in front of the joint in direction of travel. In a second position, is carrier is connected to the strut and faces the drive wheel. A seat pin (20) can be folded down onto the strut. The carrier has a fastener unit for engagement with a fixing mechanism for a child seat. The wheels have a brake.
