<p>A method for sealing glass panes with fire retarding properties has the edges of the glass (2, 3) gripped between U-profile non metallic sealing strips (6) secured to the support frame (4). The invention describes U-shaped metal cladding profiles (10) fitted over the sealing strips and with their free ends profiled to grip elastic sealing strips which press onto the glass and which also seal between the non metallic sealing strips and the glass. No sealant is required.</p> |
